Make & Model: The Vinny: Ford XLT E150, Seats 5 people, 14 City/19 Highway MPG
What’s Included: 100 miles/day, Camp Kitchen, Solar Dual Battery System, Interior Bed, Space Heater, Storage, First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, CO2 Detector, Maps/Camping Information, and ADVENTURE!
How It Works: Vinny comes with a table surrounded by bench style seating with 5 inch memory foam cushions that transition to a queen size bed and can sleep 3 comfortably. Add additional sleeping space with the additional rooftop sleeper to comfortably accommodate 5 people.
Pearl and Theo are a little different. There is a bench seat/ bed conversion with a fold-away table and extra bench seat with 5 inch memory foam cushions. The bench/bed conversions are DOT approved and come with seatbelts and car seat anchors. They both have a full kitchen accessible from the rear.
Camping Sites: You don’t need a traditional campsite to park the Vinny as it’s completely self-sufficient, but if you choose, it will fit into a regular campsite or RV site.
Van Drop-off/Pick-up: Because we want to offer ease for travel, we offer drop-off/pick-up service within a 75 mile radius of Morgantown, WV for a flat fee of $150.00. It does require a 5 night minimum rental.
Drop-off/Pick-up Times: Normal drop-off time is 11:00 AM and pick-up is 3:00 PM, however, we can accommodate earlier/later times, just check with us 3 days prior to your rental to make sure availability and we will do everything we can to make it work. Fees may apply.
Rental & Insurance: VanGo Campervans operates through Roamly and so you can choose the rental insurance that best fits your needs. For some trips we will require “Peace of Mind” package. We don’t accept personal insurance.
Parking & Storage of Personal Vehicle: There is parking available for your personal vehicle, but is it is under your own risk.
We love pets!
We charge an additional $50 cleaning fee for each rental.
100 miles per day is included in the rental. Any additional mileage is charged $.33 per mile.
A $500 security deposit is required and the charge must be made on a credit card. This covers any additional charges, otherwise, it will be refunded upon picking up the van.
You can most certainly check in with us about extending your rental during your trip. We will do everything we can to accommodate.
When you make a reservation with a departure date more than 14 days away, a Reservation Deposit is charged when we accept the reservation. This charge is 25% of the full cost of the trip.
Roadside assistance will be offered through the insurance plan you purchase.
We ask the fuel tank be full when we pick-up the van. If not, no problem! We will only charge you the current pump price with an additional $7 convenience fee.
